Terms of Service

ATOM Interstate · Updated October 6, 2026 · Takes effect October 23, 2026. Until then the June 24, 2026 terms apply.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ATOM Interstate ("ATOM", "the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including tour managers, accountants, booking agents, and any team members invited to an account.

What ATOM Is

ATOM is a software tool for the touring music industry. It helps users track shows, manage expenses, calculate settlements, and coordinate tour logistics. ATOM is an operational tool — it is not a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or legal advisor. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice.

Settlement calculations, P&L summaries, and expense reports generated by ATOM are based solely on the data you enter. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all financial data and for consulting qualified professionals for tax, legal, or accounting matters.

Your Account

To use ATOM you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

One license key is issued per account. License keys are non-transferable unless arranged directly with ATOM Interstate. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at atom@atominterstate.app.

Subscriptions and Payment

ATOM is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing, plan features, and billing terms are displayed at the time of purchase. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to active subscribers.

Acceptable Use

You may not use ATOM to:

Community Guidelines

ATOM Community lets touring professionals post, message, and share. To keep it useful and safe, we enforce a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. By creating an account you agree to these guidelines.

Not allowed:

How we enforce it. Every post, profile, and message can be reported, and any member can block another. We review reports and remove violating content or users — promptly, and without prior notice when warranted. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent removal.

Report a problem. Use the report or block control on any post, profile, or conversation, or email support@atominterstate.app. We act on reports of objectionable content quickly.

Your Data

You own the data you enter into ATOM. We do not claim ownership of your tour data, financial records, or any content you create using the Service.

You grant ATOM Interstate a limited license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the Service to you and the people you choose to share it with. That license ends when you delete the data or your account. It does not let us sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we do not guarantee against data loss.

Support Access

You acknowledge that, from time to time, ATOM Interstate may need to view your account to help you. This only happens through our in-app Support Access Process:

  1. Authorized ATOM personnel send you an access request via an in-app banner, with their identity, the reason, and the requested duration.
  2. You may approve or decline the request.
  3. If you approve, access is time-bounded — a maximum of 4 hours for a Support Debugging grant, or 30 days for an optional Beta Observation grant — and you may revoke it at any time from the banner shown during the active session.
  4. Every read of your data during an approved session is logged with the grant ID, timestamp, and the section viewed.
  5. When the grant ends, we send you a summary of what was accessed.
  6. You can view your complete access history at any time in Settings → Security & Legal → Account Access History.

Documents You Upload

Contracts, offers, deal memos, settlements, riders and similar documents often contain another party's information, and many are marked confidential. By uploading a document, or connecting an email account for ATOM to scan, you confirm that you are allowed to share it with a service you use to run your tour, and to have it read by the AI services listed in our Privacy Policy.

If a document says it may not be shared with outside services or put into AI tools, do not upload it, or turn off AI reading in Settings and enter the details by hand. ATOM checks a document's text for wording that bans AI tools and asks you before reading it, but that check cannot catch everything (for example photos and scans), so the decision stays yours.

Confidentiality

Your tour data — including financial records, deal terms, settlement figures, artist fees, commissions, crew information, and all other content entered into the Service — is confidential. ATOM Interstate will not disclose your data to any third party except:

ATOM Interstate will not use your specific tour data for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes beyond operating the Service for you. Information learned while resolving a specific issue you reported may be used to fix that issue. Generalized, non-identifying insights may inform product improvements. Your specific data is not used to train AI or machine-learning models.

Support access is limited to authorized ATOM personnel and is strictly view-only — no writes occur through the support flow. Internal misuse of support access is a termination offense under our employment policies. Full operational details of the Support Access Process are described in our Privacy Policy.

AI Features

ATOM uses AI in two ways: the YO ATOM assistant, which answers questions from your tour data, and document reading, which fills in details from the documents and emails you give it. You can turn both off in Settings → ATOM Intelligence, and ATOM's servers honor that setting.

Connecting your own AI assistant. You may connect ATOM to an outside AI assistant you choose, such as Claude or ChatGPT. It is optional and off unless you connect it. It signs in as you and sees only what your role can see in ATOM. It can change your tour only where your role allows, only after showing you the change, and only when you say yes; it cannot change money. What you ask it, and the ATOM data used to answer, goes to that assistant's company under its own terms, which are between you and that company. You are responsible for whether you are allowed to share your tour data with it, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Connected assistants or turn it off with ATOM Intelligence.

AI may make errors. Answers and filled-in details are not a substitute for professional advice. Always verify important financial or logistical information independently.

We will not change how AI uses your data (for example, to train models) without telling you at least 30 days in advance and asking for your agreement where the law requires it.

Intellectual Property

ATOM Interstate, its logo, design, and software are the intellectual property of ATOM Interstate. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use ATOM's trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ATOM Interstate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ATOM Interstate in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination, after which it may be permanently deleted.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, mandatory local consumer protection laws apply in addition to these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify active users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
