The Advance screen

One screen per show: a tile per part of the advance, each showing what is already known

The Advance screen is the one place to advance a show. Open it from Tour > Advance (the left menu; phones: More), from Production > Advance, or from the Advance tab on a show day. Each show has its own screen.

THE SHOW LIST (Tour > Advance): every show as a tile, soonest first: the date and how many days out, the venue, the city, and what the day already has (the doors time, the hotel). A tile shows the venue link only once something happened with it: Venue replied, Link sent or Link not sent. On a computer, hover a tile to see the rest of that day's schedule and its first local contact. Past shows are hidden until you tap Show past; they come 20 to a page, newest first, with numbered page buttons and Previous / Next.

A SHOW'S FRONT PAGE: the venue with its photo (the same as the Venue tab), the city and date, Prev / Next to walk the run, and Open the day. Under it, one tile per part of the advance, the same look as the day page Overview. Each tile shows what is already known (the first times on the schedule, the hotel, the contacts), never what is missing. Everything in the advance is optional. Tap a tile and only that part opens, on its own screen; back (top left, or your browser's back) returns to the tiles. Prev / Next keeps the same part open on the next show.

THE PARTS:

Every question, by section (under the tiles) opens all 17 sections, if you want them.

WHO: the people who advance: the tour manager, the production manager and admins. Crew, band, artists and drivers don't see Advance at all; what it confirms reaches them on the day page and the day sheet (anyone else should ask their TM).
