Keyboard shortcuts (save, undo, redo)

Cmd/Ctrl+S saves, Cmd/Ctrl+Z undoes, and where they work

UNDO A DELETE: Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows): when ATOM shows a message with an Undo button after a delete or clear (an expense, a cash entry, a show cost, a buyout, other income, clearing a day), Cmd+Z presses that Undo, the way the last action undoes in any app. The button shows the key. While you are typing in a box, Cmd+Z undoes your typing instead.

SORT A LIST BY A COLUMN: in Money > Expenses > Ledger, click a column heading (Date, Description, Category, For, Paid with, Amount) to sort by it, and click again to flip it. An arrow marks the sorted column. The Sort menu has the same choices.

SAVE AN EXPENSE: in the expense form, Cmd+S (or Cmd+Enter) saves it; Escape closes it.

UNDO AN EDIT: saving a change to an expense (the form, a receipt attached or marked not required, a change to several picked expenses) or to a cash entry shows Saved with Undo for 15 seconds; Undo or Cmd+Z puts back what it held before.

LISTS WORK LIKE A SPREADSHEET in Expenses, Reimbursements (both lists), the Cash tab and the Settlements list: Shift+click picks every row between, Cmd/Ctrl+click picks one more, Cmd/Ctrl+A picks every row shown, Cmd/Ctrl+C copies the picked rows (with a heading row) to paste into Excel or Google Sheets, the arrow keys move between rows, Space picks a row, Escape clears. Right-click a row for a menu (Open, Approve, Mark paid, Deny, Email, Mark settled, Delete, Copy, depending on the list). In Reimbursements, pick several and Approve, Mark paid (asks how once for all of them) or Deny them together. Column headings sort on Expenses, Reimbursements, Cash, Settlements (months fold away while sorted), Per diem runs and Previous cash payouts; Per diem runs and Previous cash payouts have a Copy button for the same spreadsheet paste.

RECEIPTS WORK LIKE FINDER (Money > Expenses > Receipts): the arrow keys move through the list, Space previews the receipt full size (Space again or Escape closes), drop a file on a row to attach it to that expense, right-click a row for Preview, Attach, Mark not required, Download, Edit and Copy, and tick rows to Download their receipts as one ZIP.

RATE TABLES: Crew Pay > Day types and a person's Pay tab move with Enter and the arrow keys like a spreadsheet.

SAVE: Cmd+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows) saves the screen you are working on whenever it has a Save button and unsaved changes: a per diem run you are building, Crew Pay, a contact, a hotel, a travel day, a guest list, the Rider Builder, Set List Studio, Merch count, My Account and the other screens that ask before you leave with unsaved work. It never opens the browser's own "save this page" box. On those screens the browser's Back (button, trackpad swipe or phone gesture) asks first too: Save and go, Leave without saving, or Stay. In Chrome and Edge a sideways trackpad swipe no longer goes Back on ATOM pages at all. Screens that save as you type (expenses, most of Money) have nothing to save, so Cmd/Ctrl+S does nothing there.

UNDO AND REDO: Cmd/Ctrl+Z undoes, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z (or Ctrl+Y) redoes, on the Crew Pay Work grid and while building a per diem run (days picked, people, rate, name), plus the Undo and Redo buttons there. Inside a text box, Cmd/Ctrl+Z undoes your typing in that box as usual.

EXPENSES LIST: click opens an expense; Cmd/Ctrl+click picks one more row, Shift+click picks every row between, Cmd/Ctrl+A picks all shown, then use the bulk bar (category, paid with, who it was for, delete). Cmd/Ctrl+C copies the picked rows (date, description, category, for, paid with, amount to the cent, currency) to paste into Excel or Google Sheets. Up and down arrows move between rows, Shift+arrow extends the pick, Space picks, Enter opens, Escape clears.

BUDGET: in Edit, Undo and Redo (buttons, Cmd/Ctrl+Z, Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z) step back through your changes; the budget still saves as you type.

SETTLEMENT ROWS: in a settlement, the ticket tiers, box office deductions, show expenses (budgeted / actual), tax, support and other deductions, bonus tiers and extra payments work like a sheet: Enter goes down a column, arrows move between boxes, and a block copied from the promoter's spreadsheet pastes across and down from the box you are in (fills the rows already there). Nothing is kept until you save the settlement.

CASH TAB: Enter and the arrows move between the amounts down the list; a pasted block is not spread across cash rows (one paste never rewrites many cash records).

TABLES OF BOXES (Budget sheet, Merch count): Enter goes down a column (Shift+Enter up), the up and down arrows move between rows, left and right move to the next box at the end of the text. Copy a block of numbers in Excel or Google Sheets, click the first box and paste: it fills across and down; $1,234.56 goes in as 1,234.56. On the Merch count, paste In, Adds, Comps and Out for every size at once.

CREW PAY DAY GRID: Shift+click or Shift+arrows selects a block; type S (show), T (travel), O (off), TV, R (rehearsal), TD (tech), P (promo) or W (work) to set every selected day; Delete clears; Cmd/Ctrl+C copies the block and pasting a block from a sheet fills from the day you are on; Undo and Redo.

DRAG: on the Work grid, drag to select days and drag the corner square to copy; on the Crew Pay Day grid, drag a set day across days or down across people; on a per diem period's calendar (Tap days), drag across days to put them all in, or start on a day that is in to take them all out.
