Connected Tours

Requesting access to an artist's real tour so a confirmed deal can land there and commission flows back

Connected Tours is how a booking agency gets read/write access to an artist's REAL tour. The actual "marriage" handshake, not a same-account shortcut.

WHY IT'S NEEDED: every artist runs their own separate ATOM login. Without an approved connection, an agency's confirmed bookings only exist in the agency's own book. They never reach the artist's real Tour/Money.

HOW IT WORKS: add an artist to your roster (or use one you already have), hit Connect, and a real request goes out. The tour manager on the other end sees it in their own approval inbox. They approve or decline; either side can revoke it later, and nothing is guessed or auto-granted.

WHAT CHANGES ONCE APPROVED: a confirmed deal can be sent "down the interstate". The guarantee, deposit, and agreed show costs land as a real Settlement on the artist's own tour, under the artist's own account. Never guessed, never widened beyond what was approved.

THE MONEY COMES BACK TOO: once the tour manager reconciles that show on their end, ATOM checks automatically the next time you open the app and pulls the real commission back onto the deal. Same connection, no extra step, no separate report request. Nothing is written until the tour side actually settles. For a same-account booking (your agency also runs the tour), that real commission can then be sent into the tour's own Money as an expense with one click. See the "Send commission to Money" button on the Home interstate card. Cross-company commission hand-off (writing into a separate artist's books) isn't built yet.

STATUS: each connection shows Waiting on approval, Connected, or Declined, with a Recheck button so you know the moment the other side responds.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE ONCE CONNECTED: the artist's roster card lists their REAL tour. Actual dates, venues, cities and guarantees, read live from the artist's own tour. What you see respects the connection's visibility window: a new connection sees the tour from its approval date FORWARD, never the history before it. Access follows consent, not connection. Signing an artist does not retroactively open their past. Only the artist's side can extend the window earlier or open full history (and that unlock only ever opens wider, never the reverse). If you need history, ask the artist's camp to grant it. There is nothing to click on the agency side, by design.
