AI reading your documents

Who reads your documents, what is kept, the off switch, and the no-AI clause check

ATOM reads the documents you add (contracts, deal memos, settlements, receipts, riders, tech packs, passports, W-9s, travel emails) and fills in the details so you don't type them.

WHO DOES THE READING: Anthropic (Claude), through its business service, which may not train on your files. Scanned pages with no readable text go to Google Cloud Vision first to become text. Under Anthropic's published policy, what ATOM sends is deleted within 30 days.

WHEN: only when you add a document or tap Scan. The overnight Gmail receipt check runs only if you turn it on in Money > Settings > Integrations > ATOM Automation, and nothing is read until you tap Review.

TURN IT OFF: Settings > YO ATOM > ATOM Intelligence (or just Smart Capture). Off is enforced on ATOM's servers, on every device: nothing of yours is sent to be read. Every form still works by hand.

DOCUMENTS THAT FORBID AI: before reading a document's text, ATOM looks for wording that bans AI tools (for example "shall not be uploaded to any artificial intelligence tool"). If it finds it, it stops, shows you the sentence, and only goes ahead if you say you're allowed. Ordinary "confidential" wording, which almost every tour contract has, is not flagged. Photos and scans can't be checked this way.

IS IT OK TO UPLOAD A CONTRACT? Most tour contracts allow sharing what's reasonably needed to perform the deal and with your advisors, and ATOM handles your documents only for you. But you're the one who knows your contract: if it forbids outside services or AI, don't upload it, or enter it by hand. The full details are in the Privacy Policy under "Reading your documents with AI".

DELETING: Settings > Account > Legal & agreements, then Your Data & Rights > Delete My Account removes your uploaded files and saved reads too.
