Show Money lets the artist see what their own shows and merch made on a tour. It is off for every artist until the tour manager turns it on for that person, on that tour.
TURNING IT ON (TM / tour owner):
Tour Roster > tap the artist > the Access box > Sees their show money > On. Or when you add them: + Add person, role Artist, tick Sees their show money before sending the invite. Only the tour's owner, a Tour Manager or a co-admin on that tour can change it, only for someone whose role on the tour is Artist, and only for that tour. Changing their role, or removing them from the tour, turns it back off.
WHAT THE ARTIST SEES (when it's on):
Tour > Show Money (phones: More > Show Money). Gross figures only, in US dollars:
- Each show: the artist's pay for that show. Once a settlement is entered it is the settlement's artist pay (after any tax the venue withheld); before that, the deal guarantee. It reads Pending settlement until the settlement is closed out, so a plus deal or a bonus can still move it, then Final. A canceled show shows only a deposit that was kept.
- Merch each night: the artist's merch take-home (the settlement's merch, else the booth's artist cut), and merch per head: gross merch sales divided by the door count. No door count, no per head.
- Totals: shows, merch and both together, for a year or all years, and by show, by month or by quarter. Tap a month or quarter to see its shows.
WHAT THE ARTIST NEVER SEES HERE: expenses, commissions, crew pay, per diem, other people's pay, or the settlement sheets themselves. The figures are worked out on ATOM's servers and only the totals reach the artist's phone.
THE NUMBERS MATCH MONEY: show and merch totals are worked out by the same rules as Money's own income, to the cent. Merch shows here even if the tour doesn't count merch as income in Money.
YO ATOM: with it on, the artist can ask YO ATOM "what did we make in Denver" or "what's our merch this quarter" and it answers from these same figures. With it off, YO ATOM has no money for the artist at all.
WHO CAN DO WHAT: turning it on or off: the tour's owner, Tour Manager or co-admin. Seeing it: only that artist. Management, crew and everyone else never see this screen. It's a tour-workspace feature; on a management firm account it doesn't apply.
