The day page on a phone

Tabs, the Edit row, Scan, and why phones show no photos

The day page on a phone is built so the day itself shows on the first screen.

TABS: the bar always shows Overview, Schedule, Hotel, Travel, in that order on every day, then More. Tap More and the day's other sections open as tiles right under the bar: Who's On, Venue, Advance, Money, Set List, Guest List, Laundry, Files and Notes (only the ones this day and your role have; a day off has no Set List, a driver has no Money). Tap a tile to open it. While one of those is open, the More tab shows its name (say Guest List). Tap it again to pick another.

THE EDIT ROW: for people who can edit the day, the day type and show setup chips sit on the left of the Edit row instead of a row of their own. Scan (search Gmail or paste an email for this show) moved into the ... menu next to Edit, first in the list. Crew without Edit see the day type and setup chips on their own row as before.

NO PHOTOS ON A PHONE: the venue card shows the town's ATOM skyline at half height, the hotel card and Hotel tab show no picture, and Day at a glance, the Venue tab and the driver screens show no venue or hotel photo either. Nothing is downloaded for them, so it saves signal and data on the road. The Venue tab still checks the venue's place behind the scenes so it can warn you when the map points at the wrong building. On a computer or the Mac app the photos are all still there.

EASIER TO TAP: small buttons (the top bar, the day arrows, Glance, Edit, the window Close button, the Calendar's round buttons) take a tap a little outside their edge on a touch screen, so they are easier to hit with a thumb.

ON A COMPUTER: every tab sits in one row, Scan sits next to Edit, and the photos show, same as before.
