Flight attachments

Boarding passes, e-tickets, seat maps and itineraries kept on the flight

Flight attachments. Keep a flight's boarding passes, e-tickets, seat maps and the travel agent's itinerary ON the flight, not pasted into its notes.

WHERE: open the flight (tap it on the Travel board, the day page or the calendar). The Attachments card sits under Flight Notes. The same card is in Edit flight, under Notes, and on the flight that opens from a travel day's Air tab.

ADD ONE: press Attach and pick a PDF or a photo (JPG, PNG, or an iPhone HEIC photo, which is turned into a JPG so every screen can show it). You can pick several at once. Up to 25MB each, 30 files per flight. Files are added the moment you pick them; they don't wait for Save flight.

OPEN ONE: tap it. It opens inside ATOM, full screen on a phone. A PDF shows every page. Zoom in by pinching, double-tapping a spot, Ctrl or Cmd plus scroll on a computer, or the - / + buttons; tap the percentage to fit again. This works the same for every file ATOM opens (day files, Money files, receipts, flight attachments, passport scans); Download (or Share on a phone) saves it to Files or sends it with AirDrop.

REMOVE ONE: the trash button next to it. It is gone for everyone on the flight.

WHO SEES THEM: whoever can see the flight. If the TM hid a flight from someone, its files are hidden from them too, the travel agent included.

WHO CAN ADD OR REMOVE: tour managers, admins, production managers and the tour's travel agent. Crew and band can open the files but not change them; ask your TM.

OLDER FLIGHTS: a single past flight that only lives on the old board is saved as its own flight record the first time you attach to it (ATOM asks first). A connection that only lives on the board needs one save in Edit flight first.

IF A FILE WON'T ATTACH: "still in the cloud" means the file is a Dropbox or iCloud placeholder that isn't on this device yet; open it once so it downloads, then attach. A file whose contents don't match its name (a web page saved as .pdf) is refused; export it again from the airline's app or email.
