Edit a flight. Open the flight (tap it on the Travel board, the day page or the calendar) and press Edit flight at the top. The editor opens full screen.
WHAT YOU CAN CHANGE:
- The flight itself: airline and number, the date, where it leaves from and where it lands. Type the number and press Look up: ATOM fills the airports, the departure and arrival times in each airport's own time zone, the aircraft, and live tracking. If the same number flies more than once that day, pick yours from the list. If the airline hasn't published it yet, type the airports and times by hand.
- Times: Departs and Arrives are in local time at each airport. Press +1 when it lands the next day.
- Connections: Add a connecting flight starts the next flight from where the last one landed, and shows the layover between them. The x on a flight removes it.
- Booked or Cancelled at the top right.
- Who's flying: add people from the roster, take someone off, and set each person's confirmation number and seat. On a connection each person gets a seat box for each flight (14A on the first, 22C on the second). With more than one traveler, One conf for everyone fills the same number for the whole party.
- Notes for the travelers.
SAVING:
Save flight rewrites the whole trip at once and updates the day sheet, calendar, budget and each traveler. If you changed the number, date or an airport, the old version is cleared out so it never shows up again as a second, ghost flight. The editor tells you what is missing before it lets you save (both airports, a date, at least one traveler). Leaving with unsaved changes asks first.
DUPLICATE: Duplicate on a flight opens the editor filled in from it, saved as a new flight (change the date, flight or travelers first). The original is never touched.
THE FLIGHT SCREEN: opening a flight shows the route, a strip per flight with times, terminal and gate, the travelers table, Flight Readiness (booked, seats, notes, weather on arrival, and ground transport, which counts a ground run that leaves from the airport you land at; each says Pending until it is done, and tapping one that is missing takes you to fix it) and Arrival (that night's hotel and the ground run, or add one).
WHO CAN DO IT:
Tour managers, admins, production managers and the tour's travel agent. Crew and band see the flight read only; ask your TM to change it.
