Friends & Family is the role for an outside, non-touring viewer. For example, an artist's family member who wants to know when and where the next show is and be able to ask for a guest spot, without getting anywhere near the tour's real operations.
GIVING SOMEONE THIS ACCESS:
Tour Roster (or Contacts) > the person > "Access on this tour" → set Role to Friends & Family. Same control as any other role. See Crew Access & Roles.
WHAT THEY SEE: one page, nothing else:
- Next show only: venue, city/state, date, doors time. No internal day sheet (load-in, soundcheck, set times), no travel or flight/ground logistics.
- Hotel: off by default, per person. A TM turns it on for one specific Friends & Family member from that person's row on the roster (a small "Hotel info: Shown/Hidden" toggle), not tour-wide. When on, they see the hotel name and address for that show's stay, nothing else about it (no confirmation numbers, no rooming list).
- Guest requests: blind. They can file one request and see only its own status ("Sent. Waiting on the tour manager," approved, or declined). They never see the allotment, how many spots are used, or anyone else's requests. If the show's guest list is locked, the form is replaced with "Guest requests are closed for this show". There's no way to even attempt a submission.
- No Community access at all.
WHAT THEY CANNOT DO:
No day sheet, no crew/contact roster, no money, no production, no merch, no admin. This is deliberately the most restricted real role in the app: a focused, single-purpose page, not the full Tour Book with things hidden.
