Phone widgets

ATOM on your iPhone or Android home screen (and iPhone lock screen): Today, Up Next, Stage Clock and ATOM wx weather

Phone widgets put the day on your home screen (and on iPhone, your lock screen), so you can check what's next without opening ATOM. On iPhone they're in the ATOM app from the App Store since version 1.0.4 (iOS 16 or later). On Android they come with the ATOM app from Google Play. ATOM wx (weather) needs the newest version on both; update ATOM if you don't see it. The page ATOM on your home screen (Tour, /tourbook/widgets) shows what each one looks like with your own day and today's weather, and the steps for your phone; in the app a New card on the Tour calendar opens it once.

THE WIDGETS (pick the ones you want):

Dimmed lines never count as next, same as the Stage Clock. When nothing is left today or tomorrow, Today, Up Next and Stage Clock show the next show instead (venue, date and how many days away), and a tap opens that show's day. Tap Today or Up Next to open that day in ATOM; tap Stage Clock to open the Stage Clock; tap ATOM wx to open Weather.

ADD ONE ON IPHONE: home screen: press and hold an empty spot, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search ATOM, pick a widget and a size. Lock screen: press and hold the lock screen, tap Customize, pick the lock screen, tap the widget area and choose ATOM.

ADD ONE ON ANDROID: touch and hold an empty spot on the home screen, tap Widgets, find ATOM Interstate, tap a widget and tap Add (or drag it onto the screen). Most can be resized: touch and hold the widget, then drag its edges. A taller Today shows more lines; a wider ATOM wx shows the next hours.

WHAT THEY SHOW: the tour you have open in ATOM (switch tours in ATOM and the widgets follow). Only the schedule, city, venue and hotel, the same as the Mac screen saver, only lines your role can see, plus that city's weather. Never notes, contacts, phone numbers or money.

STAYING CURRENT: the countdown ticks on its own. The schedule refreshes about every half hour, when the next line starts, and whenever you open ATOM; the weather about every half hour. With no signal a widget keeps the last day it saw and shows a small no-signal mark (offline on Android).

SIGNING OUT clears the widgets on that phone (they say Open ATOM to set up). The Test Drive demo doesn't fill them.

SEPARATE FROM THE MAC SCREEN SAVER: the widgets use their own private link, so they never change what your Mac screen saver shows.
