Invited to a tour, and signing in with Google or Apple? ATOM checks first so you don't end up with two accounts.
IF THE GOOGLE OR APPLE EMAIL MATCHES YOUR INVITE: you're in. If the invite never had a password set, ATOM emails a 6-digit code to that address to confirm it's you, then Google or Apple signs you in from then on. No password needed.
IF IT'S A DIFFERENT EMAIL (a personal Gmail when the invite went to a work address, or Apple's "Hide My Email"): ATOM asks "Were you invited to a tour?" Type the email the invite went to, and ATOM sends a code there. Enter it and your Google or Apple sign-in is connected to the invited account, with the tour already on it. From then on that button signs you straight in.
NO INVITE? Tap No invite. Create a new account and you get a fresh account, same as before.
THINGS THAT STOP IT:
- There's no ATOM account at the email you typed: check the address the invite went to, or ask your tour manager to send it again.
- That account already signs in with a different Google or Apple account: use that one, or sign in with your password.
- The code expires after 10 minutes; tap Send a new code.
FOR TOUR MANAGERS: if a crew member says "I can't see the tour" after signing in with Google or Apple, they most likely signed in on a different email than the invite. Have them sign out and sign in again with Google or Apple; ATOM now asks for the invite email. Already signed in to the right account? Settings > Sign-in (Sign-in & Security), under Connect a sign-in method, has the Google button and Connect Apple ID to attach it there.
SIGNS IN WITH GOOGLE OR APPLE, NO PASSWORD: that is a real login. Adding them to your tour works like anyone else: they get an "added to the tour" email with a link straight into the app, never a set-up-your-password email, and the Access box and the Tour Roster show them as active (they can sign in), not Invited.
