Laundry is a waiting room for the self-serve machines at the hotel or venue, on the day page's Laundry tab (on a phone it sits under More).
SETTING IT UP (TM, org admin): tap Set up laundry and fill in where the room is, how you get in, how you pay, where supplies come from, how many washers and dryers there are and each one's cycle time, plus any notes. Open the room turns it on for crew; Turn off closes it. A stop whose venue or hotel already lists laundry suggests it for you.
USING IT (everyone on the day): tap a free washer or dryer to start it; it runs a timer for its cycle. Running long? Add time or set the exact minutes left, and tap Done when you take your load out. When every machine is busy, Join the line; washers and dryers have separate lines, so a finished wash frees the washer for the next person while you move to a dryer.
THE PINGS: the next person in line gets Almost your turn about 5 minutes before a machine finishes, and a push when it is their turn; the person whose load is done gets a reminder. A machine left running about 20 minutes past its finish frees itself so the room does not jam.
FOR THE TM: start a machine for someone else (crew with an ATOM login get its pings; anyone else is a name on the board you manage), reassign it, free it, or take someone out of the line.
BACKUP NEARBY: if a machine is down, Backup laundry nearby lists well-rated laundromats and wash-and-fold spots (4 stars and up) near the hotel, the venue or where you are, with open-now, website and directions; widen the search if nothing is close.
