Reconcile: Merch > Reconcile. The booth and Money, side by side, one row per night, with a button.
WHY YOUR MERCH MONEY MIGHT NOT BE IN MONEY. The booth and Money keep separate records on purpose: a tour can settle merch by hand in Money for months and switch the booth on halfway through, so neither store is automatically right. The bridge between them: "Pull from Merch Booth". Lives INSIDE a settlement, which means somebody has to open that settlement first. If Money has no settlement for the night, there is nothing to open and nothing to pull into, and the money just sits at the booth. On a real tour that was 36 settled nights and every dollar of it.
WHAT EACH ROW MEANS:
- Not in Money. The booth settled the night and Money has no record of that show at all. The button creates one, carrying the merch across.
- No merch yet: Money has the show, with no merch on it. The button fills the merch in and leaves every other number on the settlement alone.
- Disagrees: both sides carry merch and the numbers differ. The differing fields are listed. The booth is the document, so the button takes the booth's figures.
- Not at booth: Money holds merch for a night the booth never saw. The button brings it to the booth, tagged as coming from Money. No signatures are invented.
- Needs a choice: more than one settlement shares that date. ATOM refuses to write rather than guess which record the money belongs on. Merge or delete the extras in Money first.
IT DOES NOT WRITE ON ITS OWN. Every row shows the gross, the venue cut and the artist net it would write, before you agree to anything. "Send all" only covers the rows that are unambiguous and are not replacing a signed record; everything else stays a deliberate click, one night at a time. Running it twice is safe. A night that has already been sent shows as agreeing and there is nothing left to do.
IT NEVER OVERWRITES MONEY'S OWN NUMBERS. A field a tour manager has already filled in stays exactly as it is; only blank fields take the booth's figure. That is the same rule the settlement editor's pull has always followed.
MERCH STAYS SEPARATE FROM THE DEAL. Sending merch onto an EXISTING settlement does not switch "include merch" on. Marrying merch into the artist total changes what the show paid, and that stays the tour manager's call. A brand-new settlement created purely to hold a night's merch does have it on, because a merch-only record with merch switched off would show nothing at all.
WHO CAN DO THIS: the same people who can edit Money. Merch access alone lets you read the screen and bring Money's nights to the booth; creating or changing a settlement needs Money edit rights, and the screen says so instead of failing silently.
THE TABLE. One row per night: date, venue, city, the booth's gross and net in the night's own currency, Money's status, and the one action (Send, Use booth, Bring over, or Review when it needs a deliberate look). Tabs filter by status with counts (To do, All, Not in Money, Disagrees, Agrees, Not at booth, Needs a choice); a month filter and a search narrow it further. Click any row to open the side-by-side booth-and-Money card for that night.
