Merch reports: Merch → Reports. Two jobs: look at every settlement in one place, and take the numbers away as a document.
ATOM NOTICED. A pink-accented panel above the settlements list, since 2026-09-27: the tour's best market (by revenue, with its $/head if a door count exists), best-selling product (name, size, units), and the average venue cut as a percent of gross. Only shows a line when there's real data behind it. An empty tour shows nothing here.
THE TILES AND CHARTS. Shows, units, gross, artist net and median $ per head across the range; a Sales by city card (map plus the top five cities by $ per head, units or revenue, the same card Merch Home shows) and a Top products bar chart (by units or revenue, sizes folded into their product).
PROFIT (only when items carry a cost). A Profit tile (with the margin and the total item cost), a Profit tab on Top products, and one line under the tiles: what items with a cost sold, what they cost (comps included) and the profit on them. When every night in the range is settled and counted and every item sold has a cost, it also says what the artist net leaves after item cost. Items with no cost are named as missing, never counted as free. The PDF and Excel carry the same figures (an Item cost and profit block and Cost each, Item cost and Profit columns on Product sales). Only people who can see merch money see any of this.
THE SETTLEMENTS LIST. Every night in the range, with gross, the venue's cut, the artist's net, units and the door count. Before this screen existed there was no way to see them together - Merch only had a status dot per show on the calendar.
WHERE EACH NIGHT CAME FROM is a column, because they are not the same claim:
- Signed - real ink at the booth, both parties signed in person.
- Doc - a settlement document ATOM read and parsed.
- Entered - typed in by hand.
- Count - the show has item counts but no settlement yet.
DATE RANGE: Everything, this year, last 90 days, last 30 days, or pick your own two dates.
WHAT TRAVELS: settlements by night, product sales, stock on hand, markets. Tick what you want; the summary always goes.
TWO EXPORTS:
- PDF. A designed document with headline numbers, the gross-to-net breakdown and the tables. Prints as part of the same family as the settlement and sales-report PDFs.
- Excel: a real workbook, one sheet per section, with frozen headers, money formats and column widths. Not a CSV with a spreadsheet extension.
Both read the same numbers as the screen, so an export can never disagree with what you were looking at.
FOREIGN MONEY. A night sold in euros, pounds or kroner keeps its own currency on its own screens (the count, the settlement, its PDF and email), so it matches the venue's paperwork. Anything that adds nights together (this report, tour totals, best market, per head, the calendar, hot cities) is in US dollars: each night converts at the exchange rate from its show date, saved with the night, so a March show keeps its March value.
PER HEAD divides merch gross by the drop count. The door scan, the people who could actually buy. It is only computed across nights that HAVE a door count, and the report tells you how many that was. Capacity is never used as a stand-in: a big shed with no attendance on file would drag the figure to a number that means nothing.
STOCK ON HAND is blank when no starting stock has been entered, and says so. Neither a sales report nor a settlement contains what was on the shelf, so it cannot be worked out from them. It takes one physical shelf count to unlock on-hand, sell-through and reorder alerts.
WHO CAN SEE IT: the same people who can open Merch at all: merch seller, tour manager, tour accountant, admins, and (read only) the artist, management, the business manager and the production manager. The money on it shows only to people who run the booth or can see Money; an artist sees it once the TM or admin turns Money on for them. The band (hired players), crew, drivers, vendors, family and travel agents have no access to the Merch module, so they never reach this screen; if that is you, ask your TM. On a management or agency account the artist's booth lives on the artist's own login, not here.
VENUE % ON GROSS, OR AFTER TAX AND CARD FEES: at close-out, pick what the venue's % is taken on. Arena and amphitheater sheets take tax and card fees off first and the venue takes its % of what is left (enter the card fees from the sheet; ATOM shows the adjusted gross). The PDF prints the card fees and adjusted gross so it matches the venue's paper. Gross stays the default. REPORT MONEY LINES ADD UP: Gross, venue cut, and one line for whatever else the settlements held back (tax, card and seller fees) land exactly on Artist net. Nights with counts but no settlement list what they rang up, marked Count, and the table totals what it shows. Product prices are what was actually rung up, in dollars. A night settled but never counted still joins the tour recap. Two shows on one day are one merch night.
