Receipt file names (Money > Settings, under Count merch as income): how this tour's receipts are named when they leave ATOM.
KEEP THE NAMES THEY CAME IN WITH (the default): a receipt downloads under exactly the name you gave the file. ATOM stores every upload with a time stamp in front so two files with one name never collide; the stamp never shows on a download.
NAME THEM ALL THE SAME WAY: pick the pieces and their order: Date, Vendor, City and state (from the receipt's show, or the show or travel day on its date), Amount (always with cents; other currencies lead with their code, like GBP82.98), Who it's for (last names) and Category. Pieces are joined with an underscore, words inside a piece with a dash, for example 2026-04-02_Hilton-Garden-Inn-Rochester_Rochester-NY_$253.61.pdf. The example under the pieces uses your newest receipt. Tap Save.
WHERE IT'S USED: the Download button on a receipt (in the expense and in Receipts), the Receipt book ZIP (filed by month, then category, with an INDEX.txt), and the business manager's data pack (a receipt file column). Two receipts that would get the same name get _2, _3. ATOM never renames anything in your Dropbox or on your computer: to clean up a messy folder, download the Receipt book and use it in place of the old folder.
WHO: one choice per tour, used by everyone who exports this tour's receipts. Changing it takes Money edit and the tour's money key (usually the TM); ask your TM. Receipts brought in before 2026-10-16 keep the name they were stored under, with spaces and symbols shown as underscores.
