Who sees this line lets you narrow a single schedule line to specific people, groups, or everyone of a role (all drivers, the band, the crew). Everyone else simply never sees it.
WHERE IT LIVES:
Two places, same setting: on the Day page Schedule tab (tap Edit, then the line; Who sits next to the status and note), or in Day Sheet (Build & Send) in its schedule list. Each line has a quiet Who button. Tap it, pick roles, groups and/or people (roles: Artist, Band, Crew, Drivers, Management; groups come from Tour Roster, Groups), done. It saves right away. Clear, visible to everyone puts the line back for all.
THE RULE:
- A line with nobody picked is visible to everyone, same as always. Picking only ever narrows.
- A narrowed line shows to the people picked, every member of any group picked, and everyone whose role on the tour matches a role picked (Drivers = every driver on this tour).
- People who run the day (the TM, the production manager, and anyone who can add and remove users) always see every line.
- Everyone else sees only the lines meant for them.
WHERE A HIDDEN LINE STAYS HIDDEN:
A hidden line never even reaches the phone of someone it isn't meant for, and venue advance links never get it. The day page (schedule list, overview, timeline, countdown chips, curfew), the calendar and its day previews, Tour Overview's today's schedule, the Stage Clock, the My Day next call, the Day Sheet and Share copies they build for themselves, their subscribed calendar link and .ics download, and YO ATOM (asking ATOM about the day won't read them a line that isn't theirs).
EDITING A NARROWED LINE:
Change its time, name or note freely. The line keeps its narrowing through edits.
MAKING A COPY FOR ONE PERSON OR GROUP:
Once any line on the day is narrowed, Build & Send shows Build for. Pick a role, group or person and the preview and download drop every line they can't see (a person's copy also keeps lines pointed at their role). The file name gets their name so it never overwrites the full copy.
WHAT IT DOESN'T COVER YET:
A printed sheet or PDF made for everyone (one file, many hands) can't be filtered per person; use Build for. The Crew Brief email is sent one copy per recipient, so each person's copy only carries their lines (a recipient who manages the tour gets everything).
WHO CAN DO IT:
Setting who sees a line: anyone who can edit the day. If you can't see the Who button, ask your TM. This is a tour-workspace feature; on a management firm or travel agency account it doesn't apply, it lives on the artist's tour login.
