Tickets to the points

How many tickets a backend deal needs before the artist is in the points

Tickets to the points: in the settlement editor, on a deal with a backend (vs %, guarantee plus % over a split point, promoter profit, escalating), the Walk says about how many paid tickets the show needs before the artist earns more than the guarantee, for example "Backend starts at about 332 tickets sold (about $33.74 a ticket). Sold 300: about 32 to go." ATOM works it out with the deal's own math (split point, show expenses, the artist %, co-headline split) at the show's ticket prices; with no ticket tiers it uses the gross over tickets sold, or over attendance (which can include comps, so it says Attendance). It's an estimate. Flat and bonus deals don't show it (bonus tiers already say their ticket counts). Who sees it: anyone who can open the settlement (Money settlements access); others ask their TM. A firm account has no tour of its own: it lives on the artist's login.
