Show report (end of night)

The end-of-night show report: templates, what it includes, attaching documents, and emailing it to a saved group

Show report (open a show's settlement, then Generate Report) is the end-of-night document: show info, money in and out, the venue settlement, collection, documents and notes. On a phone it opens as a full page (Back returns to the settlement), and Email Report opens as its own page.

HOW IT TIES TO THE VENUE'S SHEET: every number comes from the settlement itself (the settlement wins over the deal memo). Under the ticket scaling it walks gross to net the way the sheet does: gross box office, each box office deduction (facility fee, ticket tax), then the Net Box Office (NBOR) the deal used. If an NBOR was typed on the settlement and differs from that math, it prints alone as "as entered". On a percentage-of-net deal the venue costs end with Net after expenses, so the deal line (for example "85% of net after expenses = $9,737.77: guarantee is higher") can be checked by eye. Status says Settled only once the settlement is marked Full & Final; before that it says Draft, or Pre-settlement if a pre-settle was read and the final isn't in yet. Each figure prints once: the balance paid in one payment is a single line ("Balance due, collected in full by check #1573"), and the guarantee shows under Money in when it's what the artist earned. Copy Text and Export Excel use the same numbers. In the Excel file the totals are live formulas (tier gross, total sold, gross box office, NBOR, money in and out, Net P&L, venue total, net after expenses, outstanding), so if your business manager corrects one line, everything below it follows.

TEMPLATES: at the top of Include in report, switch any section on or off, then Save as template and give it a name. Next time, pick it from the list, or tap Open with this by default so every report starts that way. Templates are saved for this tour, on every device.

MERCH AND TAXES: two optional sections. Merch shows the night's merch gross, venue cut, sales tax, card fees and what went to the artist, plus the top sellers (from the merch sales report or booth count for that night). Taxes and fees paid lists withholding, venue expenses and merch fees in one place; it's a summary of numbers already in the settlement, not new charges.

VIP SALES: optional too. For a show with VIP / Meet & Greet on, it lists packages sold per tier at the tour deal's prices, the total and gross, refunds, and each venue VIP fee with how it was paid. It's for reference: VIP sales aren't collected at the venue and never change the settlement's total (a venue fee taken off the settlement is already under Money out). Turn it on under Include in report, or save it in a template.

DOCUMENTS: tick the show's files to attach them as links, including the merch settlement and sales report you imported in the settlement's merch section.

EMAIL TO A GROUP: Email Report sends to one address or many. Type addresses separated by commas, then Save as a group (for example "Nightly settlement": promoter, accountant, manager). Next time, pick the group and send. Groups are saved for this tour; the first one you make opens by default.

WHO CAN USE IT: anyone who can see this tour's Money. Saving templates and groups needs Money edit access; if you can't, ask your TM. A management or agency firm login has no tour of its own, so reports live on the artist's tour.
