Tour legs, years and the picker

What a tour leg is, years (All of 2026, All years), switching, and what a new empty leg shows

A tour leg is one run of dates for an artist, like "Spring '26" or "Artist Name 2027!". An artist can have many tour legs. The picker sits in the top bar next to the artist name.

YEARS (ARTIST > YEAR > TOUR LEG):

Once an artist has tour legs in two or more years, the picker groups them by year: All years at the top, then each year (All of 2026) with its tour legs under it. Years are worked out from the tour legs' own dates, nothing to set up: a tour leg belongs to the year it starts, so a December into January run sits under the December year. A tour leg with no dates yet is listed under No dates yet. ATOM opens on the year a tour leg is running in today (else the next one coming up). All of 2026 shows only 2026: Money's totals, settlements, expenses, reports and the Tour calendar all stop at that year, so adding a 2025 tour leg never changes your 2026 numbers. A receipt from the weeks before a tour leg counts with that tour leg, the same rule Money uses for legs. The Cash tab keeps one running balance across years (cash carries over); picking a year only narrows the rows. Everything follows the picker: Money (totals, settlements, expenses, reports, Day Dashboard), Merch, Travel and Hotels, Per diem, Reimbursements, Crew Pay, Your Corner, the crew roster, Advance, Set lists, Budget, VIP deals, calendar export, and YO ATOM (it answers for the picked tour leg or year, and still looks up any date you ask about). Stock on hand in Merch Inventory stays all-time, because stock carries over. All years shows everything, for career totals. Picking a tour leg from another year moves the picker to that year. Opening a day from another year (a link, Today) still works.

SWITCHING TOUR LEGS:

Pick a tour leg and the calendar, the itinerary rail and the day list show only that leg's dates. They also show two days either side of the leg or year, so a fly-in day before the first show is still there. Those edge days show the whole day, including a show that sits in the neighbouring leg (a December 31 show while 2027 is picked). Pick All of a year (or All Tour Legs when there's only one year) to see the whole year. If you're on a day page when you switch and that date isn't in the new leg, ATOM moves you to the new leg's next date. From Type your dates in, picking a leg that already has dates (or All Legs) takes you to its calendar.

A BRAND-NEW LEG IS EMPTY. A new leg starts with no dates. Switch to it and you land on the Tour calendar, which says the leg has no dates yet and offers Add your first date. Your other legs' dates, hotels and schedules stay with those legs.

OPENING A DATE FROM ANOTHER LEG (from Home's Today portal or a link) still shows that day. The leg picker doesn't block it.

IMPORTING A ROUTING SHEET OR ITINERARY (Money > Import, Shows zone): the dates go into the tour leg whose dates cover them (a 2027 itinerary goes into your 2027 leg, whatever leg is on screen); if two legs fit equally, the one on screen; if none fits, a new leg. The preview says Goes into the tour leg: ... before you tap Import Data, and the Add New Dates Only / Replace All Dates question names the leg too.

MOVE DATES TO ANOTHER LEG (split one leg into two, like one leg per year): Tour calendar → Select dates, pick the dates (Select a whole year… picks every date of a year at once), then Move to leg. Choose an existing leg or A new leg and give it a name; a new leg's dates come from the days you move. Shows move with their day details, hotels, advance and settlements, nothing is re-entered and nothing is doubled. A multi-day run always moves whole. ATOM won't move a date onto a leg that already has a day on that date; it says so instead. Leg-wide budget and road cash stay with the old leg. Tour managers and admins only.
