Travel Agent is the role for an outside travel agency working one tour: they add and edit the tour's flights, ground runs and hotels, and see nothing else. It is a role on the tour, like Crew or Production Manager. It is NOT the same as ATOM Travel, the separate app a travel agency runs its own business in.
GIVING SOMEONE THIS ACCESS:
Tour → Tour Roster → Add → Role: Travel Agent. "Working this tour" starts unticked, because an agent books the tour rather than rides it, so they stay off day sheets, per diem and rooming. Before you send the invite, "View as" → Travel Agent shows you exactly what they will see.
WHAT THEY SEE:
- Travel only. Their whole app is the Travel board and the screens it opens: one flight, one ground run, one hotel, one travel day. The left rail (or the bottom bar on a phone) has Travel and Yo, ATOM, nothing else. Typing any other tour address sends them back to Travel.
- They can add and edit flights, hotels and ground runs, saved straight onto the tour.
- Flight attachments: they can attach their itinerary, e-tickets and boarding passes to a flight (Attachments on the flight screen) and remove them.
- Hidden stays hidden. A flight, run or hotel you have limited to certain people stays invisible to them, they can't edit or delete it, and only you decide who a record is visible to.
WHAT THEY CANNOT DO:
No day sheet or calendar, no roster admin, no passports or immigration, no guest list, no set lists, no money, no production, no merch, no admin. Their hotel saves change that one hotel and the nights it covers, never anything else in the advance.
