Undo shows up for about 10 seconds in the message at the bottom of the screen right after you remove something. Tap it and the thing comes back exactly as it was.
WHERE IT WORKS:
- Schedule items removed while editing a day.
- Saved schedule templates (Schedule, Edit, Templates). No "are you sure?" step; Undo is the safety net.
- Day contacts (Local Contacts) removed while editing a day.
- Scan (the Scan button on a day): after a scan lands, the results screen has Undo this scan. It takes back everything that scan did: schedule rows, day contacts, notes, Wi-Fi and merch go back to how they were, and the hotel, ground trips and new Contacts-list entries it saved are removed (a Contacts entry the scan updated gets its old details back). Only while that results screen is open. A scan only adds to a Contacts entry that's already saved: it fills in or updates what the document shows, never blanks out a phone, role, company or notes it doesn't mention, and its notes go under the notes already there.
- Paste contacts: right after adding a pasted batch, "Added 7 contacts · Undo" takes that whole batch back off the day in one tap (for 15 seconds). Nothing is saved until you hit Save anyway, so leaving edit and choosing Discard also throws a paste away.
- Bus and ground runs deleted from the run's page or the day's travel editor. It comes back with the same driver, guests, times and notes. There's no "are you sure?" step any more; Undo is the safety net.
- A hotel removed from a day (Overview, Edit, Remove from this day). Only the link to that night is undone; the hotel itself was never deleted. No "are you sure?" step here either.
- Guest list requests, one at a time or several at once. You still confirm first. The request disappears right away but is only really deleted after the Undo window, so Undo brings back its status, tickets and email history too.
- A bus in Bunk Alley (the × on a bus tab). Undo brings the bus back with every bunk assignment as it was. No "are you sure?" step.
- Tour chat messages you delete. You still confirm first. The message disappears for you right away and is deleted for everyone only after the Undo window.
- Expenses in Money (one at a time). You still confirm first; Undo brings the expense back into your totals. Clearing ALL expenses has its own longer Undo.
- Settlements in Money, deleted from the Settlements list, from inside a settlement, or cleaned up as orphans in Data Health. You still confirm first; Undo brings back every number on it (guarantee, deductions, payments).
- Buyouts in Money. Undo brings back the buyout and the cash expense it posted.
- Other Income (band pay, sponsorship, royalties and the rest). Undo brings the entry back as it was.
- Show costs in Money. Undo brings the cost back on its show.
- Clear show data for this day (Money, a day's panel). One Undo puts back that day's settlement, expenses, buyouts and day notes together.
WHERE IT DOESN'T:
Flights (deleting one is deliberately harder) and voided per diem runs (permanent by design). Delete a day (Tour Book) is permanent; it asks first.
MISSED THE WINDOW?
Re-add the item by hand. For a guest request, the requestor can resubmit.
