Your run shows on the day page Overview on a day off at home. It answers: how long am I gone, when do I leave, when am I back, and what do I pack.
WHAT IT SHOWS: days gone (leave day and home day both counted), how soon you leave, the leave and home dates with the clue ATOM used for each, the stops in order, each stop's daytime highs (for example Baltimore 52° to 61°F), the run's rain and wind, and a packing list.
HOW ATOM KNOWS (no tagging needed): it starts from the tour's next stretch on the road (shows and work days, hotel nights, cities away from home). Then your own travel moves the ends, in this order:
- Leave: a run start someone set by hand on the day (always wins), else your own flight out of your home airport, else a bus or van run you ride, else a schedule line like Bus call, Lobby call, Fly out, Depart or Drive to on the day before the first road day, else the first road day.
- Home: the hand-set run start's return date, else your own flight into your home airport, else the day after the last road day.
Your flights are the ones with your name on them. Your home is the tour's home base, else your own home city.
FORECAST: about two weeks out. A run further away shows its dates and stops; the weather fills in as it gets closer.
WRONG? The clue under each date says where it came from. Add your flight or ride in Travel, or set the run start by hand on the day you leave, and Your run follows.
