Resume Requests is the inbox for "send me your resume" asks from anyone visiting your ATOMspace profile.
HOW IT STARTS:
Someone on ATOM lands on your profile (yours, or anywhere they got linked from), taps the Request your resume button in your sidebar, fills name + email + an optional message, and sends.
You get an in-app toast + an email. Wherever you are, whether ATOM is open or not.
WHERE IT LANDS:
Community → Jobs → Requests tab. Pending requests at the top, history below. The tab gets a red dot when something's pending so you don't miss it.
Each pending row shows the visitor's name, their email, a relative-time stamp ("3 hours ago"), and the message they wrote. Quoted in a small card so you can read it like a note from the road.
THREE BUTTONS PER REQUEST:
- Send via Email: ATOM builds a fresh PDF from your current resume, attaches it to a branded email from ATOM Community, sends it to the visitor's email. They get the file in their inbox like any normal attachment.
- Send via DM: only available if the visitor is on ATOM. Same fresh PDF, but delivered via a DM on ATOM (so the conversation lives in your message thread). Logs to your Sent tab too.
- Decline: silently archives the request as declined. No email goes to the visitor; no awkward.
WHY IT EXISTS:
The old way: someone sees your profile, asks for your resume, you dig up the latest PDF, attach it, send a standalone email. Friction at every step.
The ATOM way: they tap a button. ATOM builds the PDF fresh from your current data. You decide whether to send. One click does the rest.
ANTI-SPAM:
Same visitor can't request twice in 24 hours (the second tap returns "already pending. Owner will see it"). Visitor must be a logged-in ATOM user for v1, so there's a real account on the other end.
WHAT'S COMING:
Anonymous requests from the public ATOMspace URL (visitors who aren't on ATOM yet. They'd enter their email + get the PDF emailed). Auto-templates ("not available right now, here's my booking agent"). Quick reply buttons ("send latest" / "send shorter version" / "decline politely").
