Bookings from a client's tour

What lands in your book when a client's TM sends travel over, and how to approve it

Bookings from a client's tour show up on your Travel home page, in a card headed "From your client's tour". It only appears when something is actually waiting. A quiet day shows nothing.

HOW SOMETHING GETS THERE:

A client's tour manager books or changes a flight, hotel or ground run on their own tour in ATOM, and chooses to send you a copy. One you sent them that comes back updates your own booking instead of adding a copy. It arrives as pending. Nothing enters your book on its own.

YOUR TWO CHOICES:

Add to my book. It becomes a real booking on that client, exactly as if you had typed it in. Decline: it is dropped, and the same booking will not come back to nag you if the TM re-saves it on their end.

IT ARRIVES WITH NO COMMISSION ON IT, DELIBERATELY. The tour booked this themselves, so ATOM will not invent an earning for you on someone else's booking. That would show up as real money owed on your Commissions screen. Accepted crossings land with earn set to none and a zero coordination fee. If you did work on it and you are owed something, open the booking and set it yourself.

Its cost is also NOT funnelled back into the tour's Money, because it is already their own expense. Sending it twice would double-count it.

"NO CLIENT LINKED TO THAT TOUR":

If you see this when approving, the booking has nowhere to live yet. You have not linked one of your clients to that ATOM tour. Open the client, link it to the tour, then approve again.

WHY YOU HAVE TO APPROVE EVERY ONE:

There is no "accept everything automatically" setting here, and there will not be one. Your book is yours; nothing enters it unread. (The reverse does exist: a tour manager can choose to let YOUR bookings skip THEIR approval. That is their call to make about their own tour, not yours.)

IF YOU ARE ON SOMEONE'S TEAM RATHER THAN THE OWNER:

You only see incoming travel for clients you have been granted. If a crossing is missing, you probably do not have access to that client. Ask the agency owner, who sets this on Contacts → Team. See the Travel Team Access topic.
