What If (offer calculator)

Price an offer before you send it: break-even and what you make at any sell-through

What If (Venue > What If) prices an offer before you send it.

PUT IN: your ticket price levels (price and how many), the deal (flat guarantee, guarantee vs %, guarantee plus %, guarantee plus % after promoter profit, or a door deal), your show expenses (the costs the deal counts, like production, labor and rent) and other costs that stay on your side (marketing, insurance, support). Tap Fees and extra income to add a facility fee per ticket, ticket tax, card fees, bar or parking money per head, sponsor money and comps.

YOU GET: break-even (the first ticket where you stop losing money, or Not reachable if even a sellout loses), what the artist and you make at a sellout, a slider to try any sell-through with the full walk from ticket gross to what you make, and a table at 50, 70, 85 and 100 percent.

WHY TRUST IT: the artist's pay is worked out with the same settlement math a tour manager settles with on show night.

SAVE IT: fill in the act and date under Save as offer, pick a status (Hold, Offer sent, Confirmed) and hold position, and save. It lands on your Offers page and your calendar with these exact numbers.

SEND IT TO THE AGENT: if the act's agency uses ATOM, paste their offer link (it looks like atominterstate.app/o/...) under Send to the agency on ATOM and tap Send offer. It lands in their Offer Inbox with the deal, ticket prices, fees and any expenses the deal counts. Your break-even, other costs, extra income and what you'd make never leave your side. The offer is marked Offer sent.

TICKET SALES: on a confirmed show, add the count from your ticketing as it comes in. You see percent sold, how many tickets to break-even, your pace lately, and how many a day it takes to break even or sell out by show day.

HOW IT WENT: on show day or after, enter tickets sold per price level and the real costs. You see what you made and how that compares with what the offer projected at the same number of tickets. If the tour shared its settlement with you, the gross and the artist's pay come from that settlement, because the signed settlement is the truth.

CO-PROMOTE: splitting a show with another promoter? Under Fees and extra income, add the partner and your share. Every "you" number becomes your share of the show's profit or loss after the artist and all costs. Break-even stays for the whole show.

CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT: on a saved offer, track the contract (sent, signed by the artist, signed by both) and the deposit you owe: the amount, the due date, and a box to mark it paid. Home reminds you a week before a deposit is due, and again if it's late.

OFFERS PAGE (Venue > Offers): every hold and offer by date. Change a status right on the row, tap Open to reopen the numbers, or start a New offer. Released and declined offers drop off the calendar.
