The driver app is the driver's own ATOM lane, built around a driver's day.
BOTTOM BAR (phone): Home (the Overview), Schedule, Parking, Receipts, More. With no parking access, Report bus issue takes the Parking spot.
- Parking: the parking maps for the picked day, view only. First the files your TM put on that day labelled Parking or Map in the day's Files tab (a venue's bus parking PDF, a photo of the hotel lot); photos preview right there, tap any file to open it. When your TM turned one of those files into a published ATOM parking map, the map shows instead and the file sits under it as Original. Then, if there is one, the map your TM tagged to that day's show, or to that night's hotel (a Venue / Hotel switch when both exist), in its published version (marked Draft if the TM never published it). Pinch to zoom and drag to move. Arrived, Running Late, Gate Blocked and Need Help go straight back to the TM. No map for the day: it shows the venue's hookups and the hotel's bus parking notes, plus Directions. A driver the TM gave parking edit rights also gets Edit this map (the full builder).
- Receipts: fuel, tolls, parking, mileage. Sending one emails it to your TM or accountant, then ATOM emails you "Sent: [subject]" with who it went to, when, and a copy (it proves ATOM sent it, not that it was opened).
MORE: Report bus issue (its own screen: category, urgency, what is going on, which bus; lands in the TM's Bus issue inbox), Share location (the TM sees where the bus is while it is on), Truck stops (near the picked day's venue and hotel), Prevost (service centers with gate codes, 24/7 roadside, and the bus manuals), Settings (where your receipts go).
E-LOG AND INSPECTION ARE OFF BY DEFAULT. They only show when the TM turns on Hours logs and inspections on drivers' phones in Production, Driver, Driver defaults. Turning it off only hides the screens; nothing saved is deleted. When on:
- E-Log: hours for a passenger coach (49 CFR 395.5): 10 hours driving and 15 hours on duty per shift (the tour plans to 14), and a rolling 70 hours in 8 days. A shift starts when the last 8 consecutive hours off ended, so an overnight drive does not reset at midnight. No 34-hour restart for a passenger coach (that is a truck rule). Plus an HOS Recap and planner. ATOM is not an FMCSA-registered ELD: the carrier's ELD is the official record.
- Inspection: pre-trip and post-trip checklists for today, plus any extra checks the TM added (marked "from your TM"). A failed item creates a bus issue.
- On the TM side: the Hours-of-service watch and Driver E-Logs cards (where a TM can log hours for a driver who is not on ATOM; those entries are labeled TM-tracked, not driver-certified, and are never silently overwritten).
If a driver asks for the E-Log or Inspection and they are off: that is a tour setting, ask your TM.
TM SETS UP FOR DRIVERS (Production, Driver): Driver defaults (max drive, rest, co-driver threshold, pads, the hours logs switch) and Driver resources (extra pre/post-trip checks, emergency contacts) are saved for the whole tour, so drivers get them on their own phones.
