Hospitality rider tells the venue what food, drinks and dressing-room setup the band and crew need on show day. Build it once, save it as a template, and send it to each venue.
WHERE: Production > Advance, open Build & send, then Hospitality rider.
START IT:
- Start from: a room preset (Solo, Duo, Small, Touring, Headliner) that sets the headcount and rooms. Load template… brings back a rider you saved.
- Build with AI: answer four questions about your tour and ATOM fills in a full starter rider (rooms, items, amenities, bus stock, dietary, notes).
- Paste or drop: paste a list you typed, or drop an old rider PDF. Every line comes in as an item you can edit.
- Refine with AI: say what to change in plain English ("cut the alcohol", "add a coffee setup", "trim to festival must-haves").
TOURING PARTY: headcount and drivers follow your Tour Roster. Type a number to override it (Manual override).
THE SECTIONS:
- Rooms and Room hospitality: what the venue's runner shops for each dressing room, per show. + Add room adds another. Each item can have a quantity and an acceptable substitute.
- Catering & meals: Venue catering, Cash buyout or Both, headcount per meal, dietary restrictions and allergies, catering notes.
- Dressing room setup: furniture and gear, like a mirror, seating, mini-fridge, kettle, steamer, lockable door.
- Amenities: bath towels, stage and hand towels, shower access, wifi, and extras like hand soap.
- Bus Stock: the pantry that lives on the bus, shopped once before the tour and restocked along the way.
- General notes.
FESTIVAL MODE: turn it on and tick the must-have items; the PDF lists only those.
SHOW DATES (optional): add a date and venue, or Pull from your tour, to print a venue-specific header. Leave it blank for a generic rider.
ADD FROM KROGER: search real products with prices and drag them onto a room.
LIVE PREVIEW shows the exact PDF the venue receives, updating as you build.
SEND IT:
- Generate PDF: for one show, a generic rider, or all shows (one PDF each).
- Copy share link: hosts the PDF and copies a link to paste into any email. With Publish to Venue Portal on, a generic rider also becomes the hospitality rider on your venue pages.
- Send rider: emails the PDF. Suggestions list hospitality contacts first. On a phone, Share opens your phone's share sheet.
- Runner shop list: the same items grouped by store aisle so the runner shops in one pass. Send to Instacart builds an Instacart list and copies the link.
- Save template keeps it for the next tour.
SECURITY RIDER: has its own builder, Production > Advance > Security rider.
