Monitor Mixes is the per-player wedge/IEM grid. Each column in the input list is one mix.
SHAPE OF A MIX:
Channel hint (e.g. "1/2" for stereo, "5" for mono Sub) · Person ("Bailey") · Source ("Lead Vocal") · Output type (IEM / Wedge / Side Fill / Drum Fill / Front Fill / Sub / Sub Wired / Other).
Every mix you add becomes a teal column in the input list grid. The column header shows the channel hint on top + person on the bottom.
ROUTING A CHANNEL TO A MIX (3-TIER LEVELS):
Click a cell in the mix column to cycle the level. Order is optimized for the most common case in one click:
- off → empty cell
- present (••) → standard send. First click from off lands here.
- featured (•••) → the lead in the mix. The thing they want loudest.
- spill (•) → atmospheric / bleed only. Quietest.
Dot density visually encodes the weight. Click cycles forward; four clicks total to come back to off.
WHY 3-TIER:
A monitor engineer doesn't just want to know "is this channel in the mix": they want to know "how loud." A drummer needs the click featured, kick + snare present, BGV bleed only. The grid encodes that intent without needing a separate level field per cell.
ADDING + ROUTING IN ONE CLICK:
The "+ MIX" column at the right of the grid creates a new mix AND routes the calling row to it. Useful when you're typing channels and realize "oh, this one needs its own mix."
OUTPUT IN PDF:
Level dots show in the Mixes column of the input list (e.g. "1•• 2••• 3•") and on each mix's card in the Monitor Mixes section. B&W-friendly: no color needed to read level density.
CLEAR ALL:
Top-right of the Monitor Mixes section. Removes every mix and unroutes any channel that was sending to one.
